Will painted cabinets chip?
Not with catalyzed lacquer. It's harder than factory finish. We back every cabinet job with a 10-year warranty against chipping, peeling, and yellowing.
Can you paint oak/maple/thermofoil cabinets?
Oak and maple yes. Thermofoil no — we'll explain why and what your options are.
Do I need to empty my cabinets?
Just the doors and drawers contents. We remove the doors and hardware and take them to our spray booth.
Can I still use my kitchen during the project?
Yes. Doors are painted off-site. Boxes are painted in sections. Your kitchen stays usable the entire time.
How long until I can use the cabinets normally?
Light use immediately after reinstall. Full cure in 14 days.
How many coats do you apply?
Two coats minimum on walls. Trim gets primer plus two coats.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No, we handle it. Every job includes full furniture-move service.
Will you repair drywall holes and cracks?
Yes, minor repairs are included. Major repairs are quoted separately.
How do you handle pets?
We keep doors closed and work room by room to keep pets safe.
What time of year is best for exterior painting?
May through October in our climate. We need 10°C+ and dry conditions.
Do you paint in rain?
Never. We'll reschedule and communicate proactively.
How much does it cost?
Every project is different. We provide free, no-obligation in-home estimates.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, 30% deposit to secure scheduling. Balance due on completion.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, 0% for 12 months on cabinet projects over $4,000 through PayBright.
Are you insured?
Yes, $5M general liability and full WSIB coverage.
Do you help with colour selection?
Absolutely. Free colour consult using Benjamin Moore's tools.
How soon can you start?
Typically 2–3 weeks from approved quote. Rush scheduling available in slower months (Dec–Feb) for a small premium.
